Micro-enterprises, including self-employed persons (ENI), established and operating in Portugal. A micro-enterprise is defined as any enterprise which employs fewer than 10 people and whose annual turnover, or total annual balance sheet total, does not exceed 2 million euros.
The scheme supports microfinance for two purposes. The financing must be new; it must not take the form of refinancing nor be included in another portfolio supported by the EIF.

APR calculated on the basis of a nominal annual interest rate (TAN) of 3.4950% – 3-month Euribor (simple arithmetic mean of the daily rates for August 2026, corresponding to 2.42500%, plus a spread of 1.07%) for a loan of 50,000 euros (drawn down in full on the date the agreement is signed), term of 60 months, with a 6-month grace period on principal repayment, with equal monthly repayments of principal plus interest, payable monthly in arrears.
